As far as enhancing your Honda is concerned, you will notice that one of the things that people today install are these oversized tachometers known as the Monster Tach. Now we all know these originated from racing movies but the thing is, do you really need them?

If you can afford them, then fine. But what is the use of putting one if you already have a tachometer on your dashboard? These are costs that some wise and conservative car owners avoid and apparently if you see a Honda with one, chances are they are teenagers who just want to show off.

Leaded over Unleaded Gasoline

We all know that leaded gasoline is cheaper to use but we also have to consider its effects on our engines. Honda car owners often find their cars performing below par and while many attribute it to maintenance, the type of fuel we use on our Honda is also a telling factor.

Apparently the composition of leaded gasoline is still better. Unleaded fuel is deemed as helping the environment and saving on cost but if you talk about overall car engine maintenance, a lot has to be done with regards to refining the components of unleaded fuel these days.

Getting into car accidents cannot be avoided and just in case you have already been into one, you will notice that it would be better to have your damage towards the body rather than the lens and lights of your car.

Dents and damaged body portions can easily be fixed. They can be reformed and painted which do not cost as much. But once your lens get cracked, you have no choice but to change the whole assembly. Between the two, you will notice it is costly to change the lens so be careful with them even in minor mishaps.

If you are observant enough, driving around can draw your attention to a lot of things. There will be rattling or clumping sounds, which some would often ignore. But if you are really particular about them, it would be best to pinpoint where the sound is coming from.

Sometimes, we cannot discount the fact that under chassis components such as our tire rods, bearings and even suspensions may deteriorate over time. They are things that you have to replace at times especially if your car goes through rough roads. Visit your mechanic and have them checked. A single sound may make your driving pleasure entirely different.

When we say leather seat covers are hotter, we are referring towards the heat absorption that they solicit whenever you leave your car out in the sunlight. Warm climates become a problem for most car owners, mainly because they of the materials used. They do make you look hot inside your Honda but apparently, you have to deal with this issue which is really evident.

But just the same, it is looks that matter. Your Honda’s interior is something that has to be taken care off and regardless if it is a Civic or an Accord, the bottom-line is that you get classy interiors for your car.

Whenever we start our cars, prior to the actual ignition proper you will see a couple of lights on your main dashboard such as the battery, brake and oil lights. They normally go off once you successfully start your car. But there may be instances you will notice that your oil light takes a long time to die down.

Now this may be a malfunction but just in case, it would be best to check your oil levels. You cannot discount that at times, your car’s oil will decrease due to wear and tear and possible leaks. Check it out and see if you are within manageable levels. Leaving it be may lead to engine overhaul which is entirely costly.
