The 2008 Honda Civic hybrid is a new powerful and efficient car model that runs on a 1.3-liter, 8 valve i-VTEC engine. This is a four-cylinder inline matched to a lightweight, high-power electric motor. The electric motor adds power when needed. This is definitely something to drool about. The Civic Hybrid is equipped with CVT, or continuously variable transmission, for smooth shifting (or rather non-shifting), with the comfort of an automatic and performance of a manual transmission.
The Civic Hybrid also features the idle-stop functionality, which shuts off the gas engine when you’re idling. This conserves on gas and helps save the environment, too!
